Two people have been transported to the hospital after a head-on crash on Highway 30 in Box Elder County Friday.
The Garland Fire Department said that the collision happened near mile marker 94 on Hwy. 30 before 1:30 p.m.
Both patients had to be extricated from the their vehicles due to “extensive damage” fire officials said.
One patient was air lifted by a medical helicopter and the second patient was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital.
